Trauma Therapy
Healing From Trauma With Compassion, Safety, and Expertise
Trauma affects the body, mind, and nervous system—and its effects can linger long after the event has passed. Whether you’ve experienced a single traumatic incident or have lived through years of ongoing stress or harm, you deserve support that is affirming, informed, and deeply attuned to your experience.
At our Raleigh-based therapy practice, we offer trauma therapy, in person or virtually, for adults and teens in a safe, respectful, and grounded way. We specialize in treating both acute trauma (such as accidents, assault, or sudden loss) and complex trauma—the kind that can arise from ongoing abuse, neglect, emotional invalidation, or chronic stress, often beginning in childhood.
We Help Clients Heal From:
PTSD and post-traumatic stress symptoms
Complex trauma (C-PTSD) and childhood emotional neglect
Sexual abuse or assault
Domestic violence and unhealthy relationships
Medical trauma and traumatic grief
Racial, systemic, or identity-based trauma
Dissociation, anxiety, shame, and self-blame
Our Trauma-Informed Approach
Our therapists are trained in evidence-based trauma treatments such as EMDR, somatic therapy, polyvagal-informed approaches, and parts work (including IFS and AEDP). We go beyond symptom management to support nervous system regulation, self-compassion, and meaningful healing.
You set the pace—we provide the tools and safety to do the work.
